Cell phones have dramatically changed market research in the quarter century I've been a market researcher. In 2014, the Pew Research Center noted that 2 out of 5 households were cell phone only households:

In 2016, Research 13 predicts we will reach the point where over half of households will be cell phone only households. It's not just the young and the poor anymore.
